The Perfect Fluffy Bath Puff
(Updated 07/12/10)
Because these bath puffs are made from a cotton blend by Lion Brand (50% cotton, 50% acrylic), I make them tight, but medium sized. Double crocheted (larger) 100% cotton bath puffs tend to get too heavy when they get wet. This size is good for a child or adult.
Materials: 1 ball of medium weight 50% cotton/50% acrylic and crochet hook K.
Round 2 thru 6: 6 single stitches in each chain of the 15 chains.

A quick question, what size crochet hook do you use? I will probably be using a worsted weight cotton or cotton/acrylic blend.

Thanks for the compliment! I use an "I" hook to create my bath puffs, especially if you'll be using worsted weight cotton. Remember that if you do make them with 100% cotton, they will get very heavy and don't maintain their shape well after washing. An acrylic/cotton blend is a great idea! Good luck!

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing this pattern. I do crochet and have never heard of a “single stitch” so to put 15 in the middle of the circle I assume- means 15 single crochet stitches in the circle. The put 6 single stitches in each of the chains - would this really mean put 6 single crochets in each of the 15 single Crochet’s ? I am sincere in my questions and do not want to offend you. You are very talented and I really just want to learn from you. Thank you, Lori
I'm a bit confused on the directions. Would it be possible to make a video. I just don't understand how all those single crochets (stitches) would make a poof. Unless I'm reading it wrong
