8 Quick and Easy Steps to Make a Child's Poncho
Crochet Pattern

It's finally here! S[romg!   I've been wanting to crochet my little girl a poncho for the longest time.  So last week was the week.  This is my own design and I posted it on http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Crochet-a-Childs-Poncho-8-Quick-and-Easy/ because I've been trying to keep my own designs in one place. 

It took 3 balls of chunky yarn (see "Materials" in the doc) and about 6 hours.  If you're a faster crocheter than I am, you'll probably finish it up much quicker.
At any rate, I made a darling poncho for $12.00.  Maybe it should be called "The Recession Poncho!"

    Hey there! I think this will be the perfect gift for my niece. I love it...everything about it, color, design, everything! I have a yarn but it's a category 6, very soft but not a category 5 like I think the yarn is you used. So what I want to know is, how many inches is the neck around? My niece lives a state away from me so I can't hold a chain up to her to see if it will fit her right, and with me using a different weight yarn, I am uncertain as to how many inches long the neck is! HELP!

    hi Im a new follower. Beginner at Crocheting. Im crocheting the poncho but Im lost at chain 2 at end of each row. Not sure if I should DC next stitch or skip 2.
