Little Willie got hit by a car 3 weeks ago. He broke his back leg, and TONS of scrapes and yucky stuff everywhere.
We had him trapped in one of the kids rooms all this time so he wouldn't walk too much.
Just yesterday we allowed him to come downstairs to see how he would do. He's so timid now, noises really make him nervous. But, he runs down stairs with the three good legs and then uses the fourth leg when walking.
The bad part is that Annabelle, our other cat, who used to BE the prey, is now the predator. And, she's really mean and doesn't want Willie around at all.
Cats will be cats! But not outside! Not anymore!
Annabelle
6-25-08 Update: Mr. Willie is so much better now. His hair has grown back and his leg is better, but he still limps.

Ohhh, I'm happy he didn't get killed. Hoping for a speedy, full recovery.
I'm glad Willie's OK. I know that even though mine are indoor cats they sometimes get out so quick that I don't even know that they're outside.
Im so sorry for Willie! I had a cat, Gator, who got ran over. His head was run over and he looked awful but somehow he recovered. Cats really do have 9 lives!
awwww...glad Willie's ok. give him a little more time...I bet he'll be back to his crazy cat self in no time! :) (((hugs)))
Poor kitty! Glad he's on the road to recovery.
Awwwww...at least Willie is starting to feel better!
Glad Mr Willie is ok. Looks like a classic example of why one should be nice to the "little guys" when you're on top, lol-- lest the balance of power suddenly shifts. Hopefully he'll regain some spunk as time passes.
Take care
Poor little guy..Glad he is doing better..
Poor little dude! Hope he's feeling better soons.
Poor Willie. Good luck to a quick recovery. So happy it wasn't any worse than that.
oh nooo! I hope Mr. Willie heals up and gets into super kitty shape asap!
Oh poor Willie! I'm sure he's well loved that will speed his recovery, and then the predator had better watch it! Willie'll be back soon!
